Finding this polka dotted shirt from Gap was like finding a diamond in the rough! I visited the store a couple of weeks ago with a coupon only to find the single most amazing sale since Christmas! I was able to score this metallic polka dotted tee for only $6! They still have a few in stock, so get out to Gap and find one! This tee is great on its own with a pair of colored pants or I’m really enjoying layering it with a different print such as I did in this particular outfit.
To add some edge, I donned this chunky gold chain necklace from Indie Twenty Jewelry and metallic loafers to match. I finished it off with some cropped jeans and a gold clutch for errands last weekend. So comfy!
To make this look work, I found a common color scheme (in this case gold & gray) and layered pieces accordingly. I’m not usually one to sport a regular tee, but in this case this one was too cute not to wear in the winter! Speaking of winter- today is 60 degrees and that is highly unusual for Erie. (P.S.- we were just named snowiest city in the U.S.) Yikes! It’s hard to believe that just last week I was shoveling my car out with snow up to my waist and today I’m outside with flats and no coat. Sheesh!
I’m so excited to have gotten my first pair of wedge sneakers recently! I just had to have them and since I’m between jobs, I had to figure a way to get what I needed without dipping into my savings. Enter selling old clothes and items for instant cash. I’ve recently been using Plato’s Clost and MusicMagpie.com to get instant money to buy some of the coveted pieces that I haven’t been able to afford. Presto! I’m loving the instant gratification of getting something for practically nothing!
Exciting news though…Pop Of Style is featured today on Old Navy’s Facebook page! Come take a look!
