Outfit: Nordic cardigan wrap sweater via Old Navy [similar here] | Similar striped turtleneck | Joe’s Jeans | Similar necklace | Similar boots
We’ve been having a cold snap here in Florida lately, but compared to DC–I guess we’re getting off pretty easily. To be honest, I secretly like it when the temperatures drop–at least for a little while–it means that I get to bust out all the layers and do a bit of print mixing (which we all know is my favorite thing in the world).
This weekend, Nate and I ran some errands and I cozied up in a striped turtleneck with a nordic wrap cardigan on top for warmth. I paired it with these black suede boots I found in my closet up north when I went to visit last week. Gotta love buried treasure! I can’t believe I forgot I had these! Paired with black skinny jeans, the boots elongate the appearance of the leg to give a streamlined look.
It’s not very often that I get a chance to wear a winter hat, so I was beyond psyched to sport this new one from Zara, too. With a coordinating satchel and a statement necklace for some sparkle, the look was easy to throw together, comfortable, and above all: warm!
Can’t wait until things start sorting themselves out and I have more time for blogging! Exciting news coming soon! Can’t wait to share! Have a great rest of your week!
